French translator, proofreader and subtitler

 

 

I was born in Chambéry (in the French department of Savoie) into a French-Italian family and developed a keen interest in foreign languages and cultures very early in life. By the time I was a teenager, my career aspirations were already clear to me—I wanted to become a translator to promote a better understanding between people of different languages and backgrounds. The opportunity to live and work for several years in the UK and Spain marked the beginning of my career in translation. After four and a half years working for various translation agencies, I decided to go the independent route and offer my own translation, proofreading and subtitling services. I enjoy being in direct contact with clients, building trustful relationships with them, and doing my very best to fulfill their needs. I specialize in translations for the tourism, fashion and cosmetics industries and also translate materials relating to healthcare and the environment. Although I am currently living in France, I travel abroad regularly to broaden my linguistic, social, and cultural knowledge.
